About the Role
Reporting to the Partnerships Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, commercially minded Senior Partnerships Manager to take a leading role in delivering and growing high-value brand and charity partnerships across some of the UK’s most established mass-participation events.
As a senior member of the Partnerships team, you’ll have the autonomy to shape partner campaigns, build lasting relationships and identify new opportunities to drive commercial growth. Combining creative thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery, you’ll turn partner objectives into impactful campaigns, taking ownership from initial concept through to execution, evaluation and renewal.
The role offers real breadth, spanning the full partnership lifecycle – from contributing to new business pitches and developing creative ideas to leading campaign delivery, managing commercial negotiations and securing renewals.
You’ll also line manage and develop two team members, helping to shape how we work and drive excellence across the Partnerships team.
We work with an exciting mix of leading brands, charities and corporate partners, including adidas, ASICS, Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society, JustGiving, Jet2 and JLL.
If you’re a natural relationship builder who enjoys turning creative ideas into reality, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and creating meaningful results for partners, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Partner Relationships
Lead the day-to-day management and development of key brand and charity partnerships across multiple events, owning project plans, budgets, timelines and partner communications.
Build strong, long-term partner relationships, understanding their objectives and translating them into effective, insight-led campaigns that deliver against agreed KPIs.
Lead campaign evaluation and reporting, providing meaningful analysis, audience insights and evidence of partner ROI across reach, media value and wider commercial impact.
2. Campaign Strategy & Activation
Develop and deliver end-to-end campaign plans, combining strong project management with creative ideation to deliver engaging, high-quality partner campaigns.
Lead activation development from initial concept and scoping through to delivery, managing budgets, suppliers, internal stakeholders, logistics and on-site brand implementation.
Identify opportunities to enhance the participant and partner experience through innovative, engaging and commercially effective activations.
3. Commercial Development & Growth
Contribute to partnership strategy, identifying opportunities to diversify rights, improve delivery efficiencies and maximise commercial value.
Support new business pitches and proposals, developing creative partnership ideas that align with prospective sponsors’ objectives.
Drive revenue growth across existing partnerships through upselling, ancillary opportunities and the development of new rights and activations.
Take ownership of partnership renewals and contracts, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, demonstrate value and secure long-term growth.
4. Event Planning & On-Site Delivery
Represent the Partnerships team within cross-functional project teams for the business’s largest events, ensuring partner requirements are integrated into event planning and delivery.
Act as Event Lead for selected events, coordinating stakeholders and overseeing delivery.

5. Leadership & Team Development
Line manage, support and develop two direct reports: a Senior Account Executive and an Account Administrator.
Set clear priorities and standards, ensuring effective workflows, robust administration and consistent delivery across the team.
Mentor and support junior members of the wider Partnerships team, sharing knowledge and encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
