PROJECT MANAGER SPONSORSHIP SALES & SERVICING

The A.S.O. Germany GmbH (formerly Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Radsports mbH) has been the organizer of the German cycling classic Eschborn-Frankfurt since 1962 and has been organizing the Deutschland Tour since 2018 and the ADAC Cyclassics in Hamburg from 2024. Since January 2017, the company has been a subsidiary of Amaury Sport Organization (A.S.O.), the world's leading sports organizer for events outside stadiums. In addition to the Tour de France, the family-owned company's portfolio also includes other cycling monuments and outstanding sporting events

Job description

• Marketing (incl. acquisition) of all existing and future sponsoring packages of our events in cooperation with the sales department of A.S.O. in Paris
• Responsible marketing & planning of all expos (trade fair and supporting program) of our events
• Sales and marketing of partner packages for companies as participating company teams in combination with customized hospitality offers
• Partner and sponsor support (service) as well as monitoring the implementation of contractual content
• Preparation of briefings & debriefings for all customers and partners in the spirit of partnership
• Preparation of offers for potential sponsors and implementation of sponsor events throughout the year
• Collaborate closely with the project team to develop new marketing packages
• Creating and controlling the budgets that characterize the income from marketing
• Attend network and industry meetings/events with the aim of maintaining existing partnerships and generating new partners

Qualifications
• Completed studies in the fields of economics, marketing, sports management or a comparable focus
• First demonstrable professional experience in sales, marketing and/or event management
• High level of empathy and strong communication skills with a wide range of contacts and characters
• Negotiation skills
• Experience in the marketing of events in public spaces is an advantage
• Knowledge of the German and international cycling and bicycle market as well as the sports industry
• High self-motivation, independence, creativity, creative drive, flexibility & strong organizational skills
• High communication and teamwork skills / fluency in German and English
• Knowledge of German and English is essential. Knowledge of French is an advantage
• Good knowledge of all MS Office applications (PowerPoint etc.)
• Driver's license class B
